Our French curriculum at Gladstone Park follows the Rising Stars French programme, giving children a strong foundation in language learning and the confidence to thrive in a diverse, multi-cultural world. From Year 3, pupils begin their French journey by learning basic vocabulary to describe themselves and talk about the hobbies they enjoy. As they progress through the school, their knowledge and skills are carefully built upon, developing both understanding and enthusiasm for languages. By Year 6, children are able to use different verb tenses to describe the world around them and reflect on the past, equipping them with valuable communication skills for the future.
