Computing

Our computing curriculum is designed to equip children with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing digital world. We follow the NCCE Computing curriculum, ensuring learning is progressive, purposeful and aligned with national expectations. This journey begins in Key Stage 1, where our youngest learners explore the technology all around them and take their first steps into programming by controlling robots. In Lower Key Stage 2, children develop their creativity and technical skills through activities such as stop-frame animation and photo editing. By Upper Key Stage 2, pupils build on this foundation to program their own games and begin working with 3D modelling, preparing them with confidence, creativity and problem-solving skills for the future.
